# 1 Males
These male crabs measure 5 ½ inches point-to-point and up. They are full of meat so if you want a nice, heavy crab, these are what you’re looking for!
# 2 Males
These male crabs measure 5-5 ½ inches point-to-point. Depending on how the crabs are running that day, you may also get some lighter males mixed in.
# 3 Females
We do not separate sizes for female crabs so what they catch is what you get! This means that the sizes may vary as well as the heaviness. Generally, females aren’t as large as males.
Half Bushel
Generally, a half bushel is anywhere from 3-4 dozen crabs. We fill the box so it depends on the size of the crabs, how many it takes to fill the half bushel.
Full Bushel
Generally, a half bushel is anywhere from 6-8 dozen crabs. We fill the box so it depends on the size of the crabs, how many it takes to fill the bushel.
